3rd Annual Caretoon Contest Award 2009 with theme: Dreams of Peace

The National Liberty Museum’s Caretoon Contest was created after a Danish newspaper published a cartoon which generated terrible violence. To channel this powerful art form for a positive purpose, the Museum invites the public to create cartoons which express their personal vision of peace, diversity and concern for others. Through the generous sponsorship of Allegiance Bank, a $1,000 prize is awarded to one adult and one student winner at a special event at the Museum. The contest draws thousands of submissions from across the country and around the world. The 2nd Annual Caretoon Winners are now on display, as shown in the photo above. We invite yout to visit soon to enjoy this most creative exhibition. If you are interested in submitting artwork for our 3rd Annual Caretoon Contest, please click here for complete information, including an entry form.
