I Encuentro Internacional de Humoristas Gráficos en Granada

26, 27 y 28 de octubre de 2007 - “Granada con Humor” quiere ser un encuentro anual abierto a la participación de humoristas gráficos y dibujantes de humor de todo el mundo, con el que se pretende vincular la ciudad de Granada con el humor y el dibujo.
En el marco de este encuentro, se organizará la exposición “Granada nos Maravilla”, y se editará un catálogo con una selección de las obras recibidas. La intención es que esta muestra –auspiciada por la Concejalía de Turismo del Ayuntamiento de Granada- se convierta en itinerante, participando en aquellos eventos relacionados con el turismo y la promoción internacional de la ciudad de Granada en España y en el extranjero.
1 – La convocatoria está abierta a dibujantes y humoristas gráficos profesionales y aficionados de todo el mundo.
2 – El tema del I Encuentro es “Granada” (La ciudad de Granada, La Alhambra, La Octava Maravilla, La ciudad con nieve y con mar, Ciudad universitaria y estudiantil, Ciudad multicultural, Granada y sus monumentos, etc). Más información en la página web de la Concejalía de Turismo www.granadatur.com
3 – Los participantes podrán enviar 3 obras como máximo. Tamaño A4 apaisado (297 mm ancho x 210 mm alto) o proporcional. Se admitirán únicamente viñetas e ilustraciones de carácter humorístico relacionadas con el tema del Encuentro, que podrán ser realizadas utilizando cualquier técnica.
Aunque se recomienda enviar viñetas mudas, se aceptarán textos en cualquier idioma siempre que se adjunte su traducción al español o al inglés.
4 – Las obras deberán enviarse a 300 ppp, en formato JPG, por correo electrónico a
granadaconhumor@gmail.com
5- El envío tendrá que ir acompañado de una ficha que incluya los siguientes datos:
Nombre y apellidos del autor
Nombre con que firma las viñetas
Dirección postal completa
Dirección de correo electrónico y teléfono.
Breve currículum en el que se indiquen las publicaciones o medios en los que trabaja habitualmente.
Fotografía o caricatura del autor (opcional)
6 – Con una selección de las obras recibidas se realizará, en el marco del I Encuentro, la muestra antes citada en el Centro Municipal de Arte Joven Rey Chico.
Igualmente, la exposición podrá mostrarse de forma itinerante en otros actos o eventos nacionales o internacionales relacionados con el turismo en los que participe el Ayuntamiento de Granada.
También se expondrán a través de Internet en una dirección web que se anunciará oportunamente.
7. Con las obras recogidas se realizará un catálogo recopilatorio. Todos los autores cuya obra se incluya en el catálogo recibirán un ejemplar del mismo.
8.- La organización comunicará, a través de la página web del Encuentro, o mediante correo electrónico, la relación de participantes con obra recibida y la lista de las seleccionadas para la exposición y el catálogo.
Igualmente, a través de la página web del Encuentro se informará a los autores de los lugares en los que puedan estar exponiéndose sus obras.
9.- El plazo de recepción de obras finaliza el día 9 de septiembre de 2007.
10.- El envío de la obra implica que la autora o el autor autoriza al Ayuntamiento de Granada la reproducción y difusión, siempre que figure su nombre y el objetivo sea la difusión de la Muestra y del resto de actividades del Encuentro en el campo del Humor Gráfico y/o de la convocatoria (edición de catálogos, carteles, trípticos, difusión en prensa, página Web, etc.), sin que se genere por ello obligación de ningún tipo ante la autora o el autor.
11 – La participación en esta convocatoria al I Encuentro supone la aceptación íntegra de estas bases. Las dudas que pudieran surgir serán resueltas por la organización del Encuentro.

The German magazine on development issues „eins Entwicklungspolitik“ is organising its second global cartoon contest.
The image of Africa, as portrayed by experts, has undergone a recent change. In connection with the G8 summit at Heiligendamm, a new „Africa on the rise“ has been praised. In Africa, an African Renaissance has been proclaimed for some time, which has inspired us to organise our second global cartoon contest on „Africa“:
Africa: No Opportunities, Continent of Crises or Renaissance.
We would like to invite you to not only participate in this year’s contest yourself, but to also inform your colleagues of the contest. You may publish information on the contest in your websites, portals, newsletters and/or publications and pass them on to other cartoonists you know.

BASES DE LA XIV MUESTRA INTERNACIONAL DE HUMOR GRÁFICO

La Fundación General de la Universidad de Alcalá convoca la XIV Muestra Internacional de Humor Gráfico Universidad de Alcalá, en torno al tema de la Igualdad de Género, con las siguientes bases:
1.- La participación está abierta a profesionales del Humor Gráfico y la Caricatura que publiquen o hayan publicado en medios de difusión nacional o internacional.
2.- Para participar en la Muestra se deberá enviar una obra sobre el tema de la Igualdad de Género. Podrá ser una viñeta, una tira o una caricatura. Junto con la obra se remitirá, debidamente cumplimentada, la ficha que acompaña a estas bases (disponibles también en www.humor.fgua.es/XIVmuestra). La organización se reserva el derecho de invitar a aquellos/as autores/as que estime conveniente.
3.- Las obras, que tienen que ser originales, deberán que ir firmadas y fechadas, podrán estar realizadas en cualquier técnica o soporte. En las efectuadas con ordenador, tendrá que demostrar que es la única técnica que utiliza habitualmente, debe firmar la obra e indicar el número de copia y el total de las realizadas [por ejemplo: 2/4, si es la copia 2 de un total de 4]. El formato máximo será de 297 x 420 mm. (A3).
4.- Las obras deberán remitirse, convenientemente embaladas (se recomienda protegerlas con dos cartones planos), y la organización no se hace responsable de los desperfectos ocasionados en el transporte. Los gastos de envío correrán a cargo de las personas que participen en esta convocatoria
5.- Las obras deberán consignarse antes del 31 de julio del 2007 a la siguiente dirección:

Es indispensable atenerse a las fechas indicadas para la adecuada planificación del catálogo y del diseño de la exposición.
6.- Una selección de la obra presentada (que llevará a cabo la Comisión de Selección) se expondrá en la XIV Muestra Internacional de Humor Gráfico Universidad de Alcalá y en las otras exposiciones que se lleven a cabo.
7.- Las obras presentadas pasarán a formar parte de los fondos de Humor Gráfico de la Fundación General de la Universidad de Alcalá (salvo indicación expresa en sentido contrario, para lo que habrá que escribir en el reverso de la obra la palabra "Devolución"), y podrán ser utilizadas en sus espacios, muestras itinerantes y publicaciones.
8.- El envío de la obra implica que la autora o el autor autoriza a la Fundación General de la Universidad de Alcalá su reproducción y difusión, siempre que figure su nombre y el objetivo sea la difusión de la Muestra y del resto de actividades de la Fundación en el campo del Humor Gráfico y/o de la convocatoria (edición de catálogos, carteles, trípticos, difusión en prensa, página Web, etc.), sin que se genere por ello obligación de ningún tipo ante la autora o el autor.
9.- La organización comunicará, a través de la página Web de la Muestra o mediante carta, la relación de participantes con obra recibida y la lista de las seleccionadas. Las personas con obra seleccionada podrán asistir a la inauguración o a cualquiera de las actividades paralelas y para lo cual se les informará de las condiciones de alojamiento y manutención.
10.- Al finalizar la exposición en Alcalá, Las personas, con obra seleccionada, recibirán un ejemplar de la publicación, que se editará con motivo de la celebración de la Muestra.
11.- La organización se reserva el derecho de no exhibir aquellas obras que considere que atentan contra derechos individuales o colectivos.
12.- La participación en la Muestra supone la aceptación de estas bases.

Participation: All cartoonists, professional or not, are allowed to submit original works, since they have not been awarded in other saloons up to the deadline for registrations (August 31st 2007). Each author may submit up to 3 (three) works developed under any technique, including those ones done by computers. For each work sent, one entry form must be filled up. 4. Sending the works: All works, including those ones drawn by hand, must be sent by e-mail, resolution 300 DPIs, color mode RGB, JPG (average quality -
5) or PDF up to the limit of 1,5 MB for each work. Each e-mail must contain only one work and it must come with the respective entry form.5.Prizes: The prize for the first place will be R$ 10.000,00 (Ten thousand Reais) plus a trophy and a certificate. The second and third places will receive trophies and certificates. The Ekaterinburg's Cartoon Museum invite you to take part in IIIrd Ekaterinburg International Cartoon Competition.
Competition will take place in Ural's capital at September, 14th, 2007.
Theme: "VOX POPULI"
Size: A4 (210 x 297), A3 (297 x 420).
Technique: free.
Number of works: max. 5 cartoons.
Deadline: August 1, 2007
Only originals are required. No photocopies, xerocopies or digital medium. No words in cartoons. The cartoons that have got prizes in other contests will not be examined. Please don't forget to write your name and address in left top corner on the back side of picture.
The Organization Committee doesn't account for damages during posting. Please, carefully pack up works for their safety. The works sended to contest are remaining in disposal of Committee and can be used for exhibitions, posters production, souvenirs, media publications and for using in advertising.

VII International Cartoon Contest “Independence” - Ukraine

Terms and Conditions:
1. The topic of the contest is "Billiards".
2. There are no limitations on the execution technique, however, photocopies and works in electronic format won't be accepted.
3. Caricatures should not contain any dialogues.
4. Required format: A4 (297x210 mm).
5. No more than 3 entries from a contestant.
6. The back of the entry should contain author's name, address, phone number, fax number, e-mail address.
7. The deadline is July 25th 2007.
8. An application with a photo is required. It should be submitted along with the entries.
9. The organizers are not responsible for any postal damage. The submitted works won't be returned and can be used by organizers for publications, advertising, distribution and merchandise.
10. Prizes: 1st place - USD 300, 2nd place - USD 250, 3rd place - USD 200, 10 awards of success.
11.The organizers will contact the winner after the contest. The submitted entries will be included in a publication. Each entrant whose work is published will receive a free copy.
